A Greenville man has posted bond after court documents allege he struck a woman he was dating in the face.
Jalen Arrmod Walston, 25, was arrested Oct. 23 and charged with misdemeanor crimes of domestic violence and assault on a female.
The magistrate’s order alleges Walston struck the woman in the face with a closed fist. The document states Walston and the woman were in a dating relationship at the time of the alleged assault.
A release order set a $1,500 secured bond. Court records show the bond was posted at 3:26 p.m. Oct. 23.
Walston is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. Dec. 15 in Pitt County District Court.
The charges are allegations, and Walston is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
