Christina Hall Is Not Dating Mystery Man From New Instagram Post
Christina Hall looked cozy with a mystery man in a new Instagram post, but Us Weekly can confirm she’s not dating him.
“Christina has been good friends with Jared and his wife for over 20 years,” a source exclusively told Us, referring to Hall’s pal Jared Merrell, who popped up on her social media account earlier this month.
The insider noted that Hall “had a great time celebrating his birthday with them and friends in Mexico this weekend.”
The Christina on the Coast star, 41, raised eyebrows on Saturday, November 2, when she shared a photo with Merrell in honor of his birthday.
“Happy Birthday to my brother from another mother,” Hall captioned a photo with her arm around Merrell. “Thank you for ALWAYS being such a great friend. Love you and your family so much. So happy to be celebrating you all weekend!”
Hall also posted several photos from a recent getaway to Mexico with Merrell and a group of their friends. “Thank you to the host with the most,” she captioned a squad photo that featured a bunch of men and women in their bathing suits by a pool.
Hall tagged a man named Greg Brown as the host, calling the vacation the “best weekend.”
Some of the HGTV star’s followers were quick to think that Hall was dating Merrell based on the cozy photo. “Dang, she jumps quick,” one fan replied in the comments, while another quipped, “Oh, I thought this was the next husband for three months.”
Despite the rumors to the contrary, the insider told Us that Hall is just friends with the married man.
Christina’s Mexican getaway came four months after she and estranged husband, Joshua Hall, filed for divorce on July 15. The pair tied the knot in October 2021 and, according to Christina’s filing, they separated on July 8.

Following their breakup, Christina turned her focus to working better with the father of her children, ex-husbands Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead.
“Everyone is communicating better,” a source exclusively told Us in August, sharing that El Moussa, 43, and Anstead, 45, have been “extremely supportive” of Christina.
Prior to her divorce from Joshua, Christina was married to El Moussa from 2009 to 2016. The exes share daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9. Tarek has since moved on with Heather Rae El Moussa, whom he wed in October 2021. The couple share son Tristan, 21 months.

Christina was married to Anstead from 2018 to 2020. The pair share son Hudson, 5. Anstead, who has two children from a prior marriage, is currently dating Renée Zellweger.
Over the summer, Christina re-followed Anstead on social media, signaling to her fans that they were back on good terms. Christina also teased via social media in July that she thought it was a “genius” idea to replace Joshua, 44, with Anstead on her upcoming show The Flip Off.
Christina and Joshua were initially set to compete against Tarek and Heather, 37, on the series, but now it will just be Christina facing off against her ex and his wife.
While Christina has moved on professionally, she is trapped in a legal battle with Joshua over their shared home in Tennessee. Joshua filed a request on October 10 with the court to prevent Christina from selling the property, claiming she listed the house without his consent.
Joshua alleged in the docs obtained by Us that he relocated from Southern California to live in the Tennessee home during their separation, which he said Christina agreed to.
Us previously confirmed that Joshua agreed to let Christina have temporary possession of their shared home in Newport Beach, California, while they sorted out their affairs. He also agreed to Christina taking over control of their condominiums in Nashville, Tennessee.
Since the couple didn’t sign a prenup, an insider told Us that Joshua is requesting an equal division of their community property, including their homes and any rights to the Discovery and HGTV shows they developed, produced or contracted during the marriage.
