It would be easy to assume that Cora Jade was just a product of WWE’s developmental system given her age, but that is not the case. She debuted all the way back in 2018 and started out on the independent scene at a young age.
In 2020, Jade wrestled twice on AEW Dark, once losing in a singles match to Red Velvet, and then losing in a tag team match also involving Brandi Rhodes and Leyla Hirsch. It wasn’t long after this that she was wrapped up by WWE, where she debuted at the start of 2021.

Cora Jade has had several title pursuits in NXT thus far, losing out on the NXT Women’s Championship more than once. After Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez had struck up a partnership, the two young stars set their sights on the NXT Tag Team Championships, defeating Toxic Attraction to win the belts at Great American Bash 2022.

However, not long after this Jade turned heel and betrayed Perez, relinquishing her half of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles and ending her first reign as a titleholder in WWE before it had even really begun. This led to a big match between the two former friends at NXT Heatwave, which was won by Jade, and then a Weapons Wild match at Halloween Havoc in which Perez got her win back.

Cora Jade and CM Punk may be from two different generations of professional wrestling, but they have a connection forever due to Jade being a fan of his for many years. Jade has always been a fan of WWE and there was a video of her crying as a teen when meeting her hero Punk which has made the rounds on social media a few times.
Punk’s return to WWE in 2023 saw the pair recreate this now infamous video, and they have also been shown together in various videos and pictures too, most recently during CM Punk’s Royal Rumble vlog on WWE’s YouTube Channel.
