Things to do in Pueblo, Colorado that don’t involve drinking
Pueblo is full of fun things to do after 5 p.m., but finding them can often be difficult, especially if you don’t drink alcohol.
From arcades and mini golf to bowling, tabletop gaming, and Pueblo’s only sober bar, there are plenty of ways to get out and enjoy the Steel City that don’t involve drinking.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of places to go and things to do in Pueblo after 5 p.m. where alcohol is optional or not involved.
Cement your legacy on the leaderboard at a Pueblo arcade
Hi-Score Arcade
Hi-Score Arcade features tournaments, themed nights, leagues, hi-score competitions, and “much more” according to its website. Games featured at the arcade include popular favorites like Ms. Pac-Man, Tekken 3, Simpsons, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, among many more. The cost is $15 for a daily pass or $60 for a monthly membership. The day pass includes standard tournament entry on tournament days.

Flip A Coin Arcade Bar
The Flip a Coin Arcade Bar claims on its website to be “Pueblo’s most extensive arcade bar,” featuring pinball and retro arcade games. Games cost 25 cents per arcade game and 50 cents to $1 per pinball game. The Flip a Coin Arcade Bar can also be reserved for private parties through its website.

Roll your way to victory at a Pueblo bowling alley
Pinelle’s Bowlero Lanes
Located in the Midtown Shopping Center, this Pinelle’s Bowlero Lanes features 32 lanes. It also offers a snack bar and a lounge if you feel peckish between games. Games are $4 per game and shoes cost $2.25 per pair.

Big Daddy’s Sunset Bowl
Big Daddy’s Sunset Bowl boasts 40 lanes. Games are $4 each and a pair of bowling shoes will cost $2.50 per pair.

Chaos, Games and More
Chaos, Games and more provides a venue to play a wide range of board games, tabletop war games, and pen and paper roleplay, including Battletech, Warhammer 40k, Magic: the Gathering, and Dungeons and Dragons among others, featuring competitive leagues and tournaments for various games. The shop also provides a wide range of hobby supplies such as paints, miniatures and sourcebooks. A full schedule of events can be found on the business’s website.

Game Knight Games
Like its counterpart on the north side of town, Game Knight Games offers board games, wargames, cards, and tabletop role-playing, as well as hobby supplies. A full schedule of events can be found on the business’s website. Game Knight Games is open five days a week.

The Ethos
The Ethos is an event space and collaborative community for “artists, creatives, and makers who come together to collaborate, create, and inspire,” according to its website. The Ethos offers art classes, workshops for creative projects, and a sober bar, which offers nonalcoholic versions of 20+ spirits, 25+ beers and wines, and 30+ mocktails.
Spaces can also be rented out for a variety of events, from social events and birthday parties to concerts.

- Wednesday: 4:30 to 11 p.m.
- Thursday to Saturday: 4:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Copper River Family Entertainment
Worth the drive to Pueblo West, Copper River is a one-stop shop for family entertainment.
Copper River offers bowling, with a cost of $25 per hour and $2.50 per pair of shoes.
It also offers “Mini Golf and Mining” with a Colorado history-themed mini-golf course, followed by “mining for gems” in a sluice.
There are also a pair of escape rooms, “Escape from Danvers Asylum” and “Escape Detention.”
Finally, Copper River offers a variety of games, such as pool, darts, and arcade games, among others. It also offers spaces for live events such as concerts, as well as a venue for parties and special events.

Fuel & Iron Food Hall
Along with a range of restaurants from Diavolo Hot Chicken to Steel Crescent Chicken, Fuel & Iron offers weekly events including Dungeons and Dragons on Sundays, Cornhole on Mondays, and Trivia nights on Wednesdays. as well as offering space for events such as live music and even cooking competitions.
