Women’s Golf Opens Sun Belt Conference Championship Monday
Teeing It Up: 13 Sun Belt Conference teams vying for the league’s automatic bid to NCAA Regional play
Championship Course: Lakewood Golf Club, Par 72, 6,106 Yards (Home of 2021 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship)
The Schedule: The field will compete Monday thru Wednesday playing 18 holes each day. The top four teams will play match play on Thursday to determine the Champion. Tee times will begin at 9 a.m. each day. The Panthers will play with Southern Miss and Troy on Monday teeing off at 9:00 a.m., on Hole No. 10.
Who to Watch: Freshman Pariya Sanpanawat has put together an impressive season with 2 top-10 finishes including a school-record 54-hole score of 204 in a win at the Diamonte Invitational. Senior Mahina Leveau is coming off a recent second place finish in the Georgia State Invitational. Sophomore Amelie Weber is having an impressive season leading the Panthers with a 73.84 stroke average this season.
